Our own story began in 1982 when Mark A. Millman founded our firm with a vision shaped by his executive experience in commercial real estate, luxury retail, hospitality, and consumer products. Executive Profile
Chloe brings extensive industry leadership to the role. She was promoted to the presidency in August 2024 following the passing of visionary founder and CEO Mark Millman. Having worked closely alongside Mark for seven years as a key executive, Chloe brings deep knowledge and proven success in recruiting and business development.
Throughout her career, Chloe developed expertise in human resources and recruiting. Her experience spans established businesses and entrepreneurial brands, and she has successfully guided organizations through critical phases of creation, growth, and stabilization.
Before joining Millman Search Group in 2018, Chloe served as the Director of Human Resources at &pizza, a D.C.-based fast-casual food startup with locations throughout the East Coast. Under her leadership, &pizza doubled its locations and grew its workforce by over fifty percent.
As Director of Human Resources at Honest Tea, a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, she led the company’s successful transition from independent ownership to subsidiary status, preserving employee satisfaction, corporate culture, and key processes.
Serving as Talent Manager at Discovery Communications, Inc., she represented on-air personalities across the global media company’s original and educational programming channels.
Drawing on over a decade of experience with hyper-growth startups, Chloe provides critical insight and guidance to help emerging brands build a committed workforce, enabling owners to focus on developing and refining operations.
She combines her proficiency in developing human resource systems and strategies with her commitment to understanding every company’s unique needs, personalities, and culture. Her people-first approach and comprehensive industry knowledge allow her to elevate established businesses and position startup brands for sustainable growth.
Chloe holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University.
Chloe Rosenthal
As President of Millman Search, Chloe combines a decade of hyper-growth HR expertise with a deep commitment to the partnership-driven search methodology established by our founder.
Executive Profile
Chuck has been setting benchmarks for recruitment excellence since 1988. His proven track record in multi-unit retail management shapes his strategic approach to talent acquisition and client relationships.
Chuck’s contributions have been integral to Millman Search Group’s success for nearly two decades. Under his leadership, the company has grown from its first assignment to managing over 150 accounts.
At Millman Search Group, Chuck specializes in placing candidates across management levels in the retail and shopping center industries. His comprehensive knowledge encompasses distribution, logistics, merchandising, marketing, construction, and facilities management. His deep experience and versatility make him a highly effective recruiter.
Before joining Millman Search, Chuck held management positions with industry leaders such as Gap, Limited, Hit or Miss, and Webster Men’s Wear, where he developed industry insights that informed his recruitment strategies. His background in retail operations gives him a unique perspective on matching candidates with organizational needs.
Chuck’s approach centers on building long-term relationships through a genuine and thorough understanding of client needs. His focus isn’t on
commissions—it is on commitment to each and every client.

Outside of Millman Search Group, you can find Chuck “sporting his whistle and stripes.” He has officiated NCAA basketball games for over 20 years. He enjoys quality time with his wife, four grandchildren, and dog, Tucker.
Chuck Dorsey
As Vice President of Recruiting at Millman Search, Chuck leverages nearly four decades of recruitment excellence and multi-unit retail management experience to build long-term client relationships through a deep, personal commitment to their specific needs.
Executive Profile
Dennis is a dynamic CEO and Executive Chef with three decades of experience in the culinary industry, specializing in restaurant operations, menu innovation, and sustainable practices. Born and raised in the DMV area, he has lived and worked in diverse locations including New York City, Hawaii, and Italy, drawing inspiration from global cuisines to shape his career.
Friedman graduated from Indiana University before attending the Culinary Institute of America, where he honed his skills. He began his professional journey working under some of the world’s top chefs, including Daniel Boulud at Restaurant Daniel in NYC, Alan Wong at Alan Wong’s in Honolulu (as sous chef from 2004-2005), and Bob Kinkaed and Thomas Keller, among others. He also served as sous chef at Citronelle in Washington, DC (2005-2006). These formative experiences under renowned mentors laid the foundation for his expertise in high-end kitchen operations and innovative cooking techniques.
In 2006, Friedman opened his first restaurant, Bezu, a fine-dining French-Asian fusion establishment in Potomac, Maryland, where he served as co-founder and executive chef until 2010. He followed this with Newton’s Table in downtown Bethesda (2011-2016), another fine-dining American concept where he acted as CEO and executive chef. Transitioning to fast-casual dining, Friedman co-founded Shouk in Washington, DC, and Maryland in 2016, serving as CEO and executive chef to the present. Shouk, a plant-based eatery, has been
award-winning, emphasizing locally sourced ingredients and sustainability. Under his leadership, he revamped menus to boost customer visits by 30%, implemented training programs that cut food waste by 25%, forged vendor partnerships reducing ingredient costs by 20%, and led marketing campaigns increasing online engagement by 50%—all contributing to enhanced profitability and community recognition.
Friedman’s strengths include leadership, strategic thinking, team collaboration, communication, and adaptability. He excels in menu development, budget management, staff training, restaurant operations, kitchen efficiency, vendor partnerships, customer satisfaction, social media campaigns, and profit optimization. His expertise extends to restaurant design, layout, lease negotiations, staffing, and full launches, making him a comprehensive force in the industry.
A celebrated figure, Friedman has been featured on the Food Network and in Daniel Boulud’s New York Times best-selling cookbook. His accolades include winning the Mason Dixon Master Chef Competition and the Rammy for Best Fast Casual Restaurant in DC for Shouk, among other honors.
Based in Potomac, Maryland, Friedman continues to drive culinary innovation with a commitment to sustainability and exceptional dining experiences.

He is also the owner of The Coliseum Strength and Conditioning, where he has led operations, team development, and business growth for over a decade. This diverse experience gives him a unique perspective on organizational culture, leadership needs, and strategic talent placement.
Chris’s recruiting philosophy centers on building meaningful, long-term partnerships with clients and candidates. He leverages his industry knowledge and consultative approach to deliver exceptional results and ensure the right cultural and strategic fit.
Chris holds a degree from Johnson State College and is passionate about fitness, leadership, and continuous professional growth. He currently resides in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
