Molly Payne grew up on a small island off the coast of Maine. Traveling extensively with her family, her father was a sales and marketing executive for an international paper company, she was exposed to a diverse set of peoples and cultures. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Michigan State University with a double Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, Ms. Payne was recruited by an international technology company where she specialized in the development of real-time software applications. Concurrently, Ms. Payne was very active in the field of mental health and for over 20 years has worked closely with hospitals, mental health professionals, lawyers and government bodies to establish laws, patient rights policies and advocacy programs for people diagnosed with mental illness. Prior to joining Millman Search Group, Ms. Payne managed several single and multi-unit specialty retail operations throughout the East Coast. Ms. Payne strives for excellence, is extremely detail-oriented and has an uncanny ability to quickly identify talent who not only possess the strong skill-sets needed to succeed in a given position but who has a unique alignment to a given company culture. Caring, a great listener, exhaustive in methodology, persistent and responsive to both clients and candidates, Ms. Payne develops strong and trusting relationships with those she works with. Additionally, Ms. Payne has an analytic and operational understanding of underlying principles of retail and real estate enterprises.
