Jim Bartlett grew up in Paramus, NJ where he was exposed to and was actively involved in retail at any early age. Mr. Bartlett was also exposed to tremendous cultural and educational opportunities in NYC. Attended both the Richmond University and Bloomfield College, Mr. Bartlett graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy & Education. He owned and operated a 10K s/f retail outlet in New York State which he successfully sold several years later. Concurrently, Mr. Bartlett was both an elected Mayor and New State Legislator for two terms – serving the residents of Fulton County, NY. Retuning to school, Mr. Bartlett spent two years on a Master’s Degree at Princeton University where he was recruited by and worked for Rite Aid Corporation for 16 years - the last several years as a Regional Vice President of Operations in the Northwest. Mr. Bartlett has extensive experience recruiting in the retail industry as well as finance, real estate management/development, construction/skilled trades, marketing and IT.
